ACCO BRANDS: MERGING ASSETS

ACCO is the office supply company behind such popular brands as Swingline, Kensington, Wilson Jones, GBC and Quartet. Our challenge was to merge each brand’s disparate product management systems into a cohesive system to serve the marketing team, and eventually their entire global staff.

 

We created several integrated applications for the merger, including a Product Catalog, Digital Image Library, and Catalog Automation Review Tool. The Product Catalog combined all 50,000+ brand SKUs, along with vast amounts of data, and was leveraged across multiple marketing channels. The Digital Image Library organized all the disparate digital assets for distribution across multiple channels and applications. And the Catalog Automation Review Tool (CART) took ACCO’s time-consuming review of hundreds of paper catalogs (previously done by hand) and created a workflow application that streamlined the process. We also architected and redesigned ACCO’s corporate and brand websites to include the new applications, and developed a customer service application to manage calls and emails.
